the foliage isn't the only thing colorful around here

Tee shirts, shorts and flip flops have given way to jeans and sweaters...and maybe boots next week as the temperature dips lower and lower. It's time to break out the belts - the more fun the better. This is just one of the newest creations I'm making here at Boston Baked Beads. The design is created from complex canes. There is no sealant applied - it's all in the elbow grease. Each buckle is sanded and buff to a beautiful sheen.
