humidity
One thing I've discovered during these warm summer days that it's near impossible to work with canes - even the sturdiest clay gets mushy and sticky when the temperature's consistently above 80. Or it could be the humidity that settles over the state during the summer here in Massachusetts. But – extruding – now that's a different story. It's so much easier in the heat to get this process to work.
